Mikrofale (Winyl)

EP "Mikrofale" by Niemoc is the result of cooperation between two independent labels: Brennnessel and MOST Records. Trio Niemoc comes from Zielona Góra and despite their short experience, they are already well-recognized and appreciated for their vibey mixes of shoegaze influence and danceable disco-not-disco. Although there's a certain nostalgia for the late 20th century (Polish post-punk and cold wave of the 80s echo in "Microwaves"), they perfectly understand the present and their ideas reach far into the future.

The vinyl edition of the album comes with extra reinterpretations of original tracks by two producers connected with MOST - Eltron and Hatti Vatti. Eltron (producer and DJ, constantly present on the Polish and international scene for more than a decade) and Hatti Vatti (producer and musician, whose MOST-released album "SZUM" conquered the 2017 album charts) have taken an intriguing approach to the nostalgia contained in Niemoc's music. Eltron's "Dysko-Miks" of "Trinidad, Tobago" is an eclectic dance floor heater echoing with drums on the verge of disco and rock, filled with an unforgettable arpeggio. For "Islands of Cool", the artists joined forces and during a long studio session, they created an unusual dub hybrid remix.
