Another vinyl maxi-single by The Returners. After a few years of producing mainly on the domestic scene (including Diox, Eldo, HIFI Banda, Pezet & Małolat, Gruby Mielzky) Little and DJ Chwiał have returned to their "roots" and released two songs with overseas rappers - "Ready For War" with the members of the Philadelphia supergroup Army Of The Pharaohs: King Magnetic, Reef The Lost Cauze, Crypt The Warchild & Planetary (Outerspace) and "What's Going On?" featuring two rappers associated with the New York Duck Down label Records: Torae and Ruste Juxx. In terms of sound, it is a boom-bap of the highest quality; strong drums, fast pace, energetic verses, lots of scratches - this is what The Returners productions got us used to. Little and Chwiał admit that this is one of the best productions from their already considerable output. The album also includes instrumental and a cappella versions of both tracks. Fans of exclusive releases will not be disappointed as the whole thing was released on coloured vinyl.
This single is a continuation of the 12'' vinyl series that The Returners have released with Asfalt Records, starting in 2007. The beats produced by the group back then served as backing tracks for such characters from behind the ocean as: Skyzoo, Emilio Rojas, El Da Sensei, Rasco, Reef The Lost Cauze, Doujah Raze or Supastiton.
