TERAZ PIENIĄDZ W CENIE
When "Teraz Pieniądz W Cenie" (Currently The Currency Counts) was released, it was the essence of the progressive approach in the rap biz. The concept itself broke down all the standards as Sokół has invited Pono to feature in every track on his solo album. Back then, when domestic releases were dominated by polish beatmakers, Sokół has engaged an unusual and diverse team. The album includes 14 tracks, mostly with modern, electronic beats made by producers from all over the world. The largest group was Germans - Shuko, PH7, Craig Dice, and Menez from the Black Beat Sensation formation. Polish producers like Robson, Black/HiFi and Robert M. were also very interesting choices back in 2007. Other names on the album such as J Cook (Serbia), Brall Beats (Canada), Max Chorny (Ukraine) and Marko (Czech Republic) have stirred the mixture so that the release was genuinely unpredictable. The album features only three tracks with additional guest appearances, yet, quite remarkable ones. The track "Janek pożycz" features actor Misiek Koterski. Franek Kimono, a showbiz character resurrected after 25 years, lays some fresh verses in "W aucie", which is a tribute to his own legendary song. In a 9-minute-long "Nie lekceważ nas" we can hear rappers from almost all of the Slavic countries: Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bosnia, Macedonia, Slovenia, Serbia and Croatia. "Teraz pieniądz w cenie" was recorded in three different studios: Żyzne Pole and Iziphonics in Warsaw and Big Dropz Recordingz in New York. It was mixed by Rafal Smoleń at Sound and More Studio in Warsaw and mastered by Jacek Gawłowski. The cover was designed by Full Metal Jacket team and the photos were taken by one of the most famous Polish photographers - Piotr Sikora, who at the time worked with the biggest rappers out there. All of that makes this album an absolute game-changer in the polish rap scene at the time.

"Ty Przecież Wiesz Co" (You Know What, Don’t You) is Sokół's second album with Pono's guest appearance. It certainly sounds more classic, but the audience was still surprised. „Ty przecież wiesz co” continues the strategy of delivering uncompromised quality. As previously, Sokół and Pono found themselves in the best possible recording studios and Rafał Smoleń took care of the mix. Beats came from selected producers from Germany (PH7 i Shuko), Poland (Whitehouse, DJ Krime), Greece (DJ Strider) and Ukraine (Max Chorny). Similarly to its predecessor, the album reached beyond musical landscape of its time and has satisfied even the pickiest of rap connoisseurs. Additionally, „Ty Przecież Wiesz Co” is the most personal album from the duo. In a great part it’s dedicated to women and rappers’ complicated relations with them. Deep, lyrical mood is also emphasized by vocals in the choruses: male by Bartek Królik and Sylwester Kozera and female by Ana Szarmach, Martina M. and Alina.
